Webinar: Connect Members with Powerful Social Interaction for Stronger Outcomes

September 27, 2018 | 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM ET

Supportive accountability from social connection is the X factor that can make or break whether members engage in healthy behaviors. Yet, all social connection related to healthcare does not need to be in person.

The right online communities can kickstart—and sustain—engagement in improving member health, as they provide a safe space for members to get support, encouragement, and empathy from others like them. Research shows even complex and costly addictions such as tobacco use can be overcome with active support from an online community.

Join Mayo Clinic and the EX Program to gain insights into what works (and what doesn’t) with online communities for effective health engagement.

During this fast-paced 30-minute webinar, you will learn:

  • How online communities can help you improve outcomes with the populations you serve
  • Essential factors for online communities to effectively engage members in healthy actions
  • Why participants in online communities are twice as likely to quit as smokers who don’t participate
